Multi Signal Audible Alarm

The Multi-Signal Audible Alarm by WMC provides dynamic annunciation and signaling capability to equipment with the power to be heard over the background of the industrial environment. The base model can produce audio at 85dB, and the volume boost models can exceed 114 db. The alarm signal is not limited to a simple preset selection of generic tones, but instead is read from a user configurable .wav file that can be any audio the user desires, from voice recordings of instruction and warnings, to any alarm sequence or tone, to full music.

The system draws power from the 24V input lines themselves. The unit will draw around 600mA. There is no need to wire an additional power line to the device in most installations, however If required a separate power input can be accommodated so that the power draw from the signal lines is negligible.

Visual signaling is available allowing indication of alarm state, in high intensity single color, or dynamic Omni-Color.

Communcations protocols can be integrated to trigger alarms and visual indication states from networks and serial links. Contact WMC for communication requirements.

Custom builds and other options available on request, and can be designed as required.

SERIAL PROGRAMMING AND DIAGNOSTICS

LED Diagnostics, The visual indicator indicates what state the CPU is in, and allows the user to determine what the system is doing quickly.

The serial interface can be used to link the alarm box to other equipment via serial comminucation to trigger alarms based on serial inputs as an option.
